Life...

Life is rarely boring. Sometimes I LONG for boring. As my last post stated, my little sister was recently murdered. Talk about turning life upside down. My Mom has been violently shoved back into parenting two small girls. We decided it was important for me to be here, both to help with the girls while my Mom works and to be here for my Mom. Yavette was her last child left in Idaho, and as you can imagine, this loss has devastated her. So, as my sweet Cierra puts it, we are NEVER going to spend more than one Christmas in the same place, and are moving back to Blackfoot. We began looking for a place to rent and I quickly became discouraged. The houses here.......leave something to be desired. Especially in comparison to my home in Billings. We decided to call a property management place. I googled a number and Woody called it. Somehow, we got the ladies home number. Woody talked to her explaining our situation and why we were in such a hurry to find a place. She said she didn't have any listings but that her neighbors had JUST decided the day before to rent out their house. She took our number and said she would pass it along to them. A few hours later he called us. He was excited to meet us and for us to see the house. We went later that afternoon. We loved the house, loved the neighborhood And even loved the owners. They immediately wanted to rent to us. we move in June 1.It is a newer house in a newer subdivision.. I am sad to be leaving Billings. I loved my house, loved my ward and met some truly Amazing people in my short amount of time there. I know, however, that this is where I need to be. My nieces will grow up surrounded by love. We cannot give them their Mommy back, so We can at least be here for them. I feel like it is the last thing I can give my baby sister. So, once again, we are moving. On another note, the kids are doing well. My Cierra turned 9 on the first. She is such a good girl and is already so mature. She is a typical oldest child! Blayke is still crazy as ever. He is so smart and funny. I love listening to him talk. Konnor turns 3 tomorrow! He is still not potty trained. Our crazy life is hindering his progress!! Addy is growing so fast and is so adored. She looks just like Blayke, and is a Momma's girl. My niece Bryly, who is 2, is doing so well. She didn't talk before her Momma passed, and in just 3 short weeks has made tremendous strides. She is beautiful and smart. (Someday, I will explain why I think she didn't talk sooner. For now, lets just say, I think that it has something to do with the miracle that she is still here.) Havyn, who is a month and a day older than Addy is such a food baby. She is happiest laying down, looking around. She rarely cries. She is a sweet blessing, as are all of the rest of the kids. Since I plan on spending lots of time with the 2 girls, including watching the, while my Mom works, I will update for them too.
