Who would have thought that CLOTH DIAPERING would ever bring so much excitement into my home?! I was so thrilled to get my package, I didn't even wait to get home from the post office! Cierra was so excited, that after we washed them all, she put all of the inserts in the diapers for me!
Now, I know what you are thinking. "CLOTH DIAPERING?! WOW!" (Not that I think it is a 'WOW' type of thing...but that is the basic response.) Keep in mind: Cloth diapering (Like everything else) is not as it was when our moms and grandmas did it. There are no pins..(Unless you want them) And the little plastic covers are stinkin adorable nowadays! They are even (GASP) relatively easy to clean. A little more work than disposables, yes. I won't lie. But it isn't so horrible to have sent me running. The fact is, I enjoy cloth diapering. It is more economical. (Yes, a large investment up front, but overall more savings.) It is better for the environment. And lets face it, there is NOTHING cuter than a baby in a cute little cloth diaper. It is suggested that they may also be better for babies health.
We are very excited about this change...As well as others.
